At the Luxury Countdown Party taking place at the new center of Ho Chi Minh city, thousands of residents and visitors joyfully celebrated the moment of the year 2022 turning to 2023.
The first-ever Luxury Countdown at The Global City impressed thousands of people in Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Gibran Bukhari, Head of Sales, Masterise Homes, shared his excitement at the festival: “The countdown event marks a significant milestone of a year of great success in the development journey of The Global City to become a new center of HCMC with worldclass standards. At the Luxury Countdown Party, the spectators at THE GLOBAL CITY enjoyed a lively and dazzling special version of the musical fountain show.
In the opening section of the festival, street entertainment activities such as a carnival show, magic trick, and flashmob dance... drew the participation of many young people and families. Fantastic food stalls, excellent drinks, and festival activities created a dynamic and colorful atmosphere while waiting for the new year countdown.

The transition between 2022 and the new year 2023 was marked by a brand-new musical fountain show, which is designed especially for the countdown party. And when the clock on the LED screen rang in 2023, thousands of people joyfully celebrated the moment “move into a new year” in the dazzling fireworks in the sky. The final section of the festival became explosive with the appearance of the duo DJ Vinjaz and MC Goku with a trendy music playlist. Thousands of guests started raving to the beats and enjoying the festival to the fullest.
With breath-taking moments, unique experiences, amazing singing performances, and dazzling shows from the largest musical fountain in Southeast Asia, Luxury Countdown Party at The Global City elevated the countdown night to the next level, ushering in a fantastic and dynamic new year.
Minh Khang went to the countdown with his family and was deeply impressed with the event: “My family and I once attended the largest water music festival in Southeast Asia here. But the countdown today took the excitement to another leve. We love the wonderful water music and fireworks performance. This will be a truly memorable and meaningful moment for my family to celebrate the new year!”
