Soc Trang is one of the 10 provinces most affected by climate change and saline intrusion in Viet Nam. If the sea level rises by 1 meter by 2100, Soc Trang will be flooded over 72% natural area at high tide.
Access to clean water that meets MOH’s standard: 67%. Access to hygienic toilets: 60.17%
Percentage of schools have NO access to clean water and sanitation facilities is 41.67%
