In education focus, in the last days of the 2022-2023 school year, Masterise Group and UNICEF Viet Nam conducted a week-long field trip to Soc Trang to carry out the first educational activities of "Innovation for Children”. We conducted orientation for students on using tablets to access our digital library and organized consultation sessions for teachers. Our e-library features sign language and audiobook function, making it an inclusive innovation for students with disabilities.

As we entered the 2nd year, Masterise Group’s and UNICEF Viet Nam’s Representatives assessed the effectiveness of cooperation and shared the project's plan for 2023-2024. Rana Flowers, UNICEF Representative in Viet Nam, said: “The partnership showcases the power of collaboration between Masterise Group and UNICEF to create a safer and more sustainable future for the children of Soc Trang province. By building climate resilience in schools and providing safe and supportive learning environments, we address climate-related challenges and promote a better future for all."

The second year is crucial as it allows us to evaluate the initiative's effectiveness before scaling it up to impact millions of children across Vietnam. Sylvia Lee, the Representative of Masterise Group, said: "The Masterise Group - UNICEF Viet Nam partnership extends beyond the Innovation for Children project. The spirit of cooperation permeates all our internal and project activities, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to fulfilling children's rights and building a better future in Vietnam."
