MASTERISE GROUP COMPLETED AND HANDED OVER 400 HOUSES TO DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES

10-01-2023

In mid-July 2023, Masterise Group and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front signed an MOU to build 400 Dai Doan Ket houses for disadvantaged families across the country..

Local authorities presented Dai Doan Ket households after completing construction.

Less than six months later, all the beneficiary families received their new homes on schedule before the Lunar New Year 2023, in provinces including Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Quang Tri, Yen Bai, Ha Giang, Kon Tum, Tuyen Quang, Tay Ninh, and Quang Binh.

At the handover ceremony, a Masterise Group representative stated, "These are not just 400 houses, but 400 sturdy homes for families to settle down and work towards a better living condition". This activity is central to the "Build a Better Future" program, which focuses on the living environment, education, and humanitarian aid.

Mr. Hoa (35 years old, Tuyen Quang) and his family moved into a new house a few weeks before the Lunar New Year 2023. His home is one of 400 newly built ones sponsored by Masterise Group and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Mr Hoa shared his story: "It has been ten years since getting married. My wife and I penny-pinched every day to build a spacious house. Life is difficult. I cannot imagine our dream has come true today.”

Masterise Group partially sponsors the construction cost of Mr. Hoa's new house on top of the family's savings. "My wife and I used our savings to build an additional room. Luckily thanks to the program, otherwise it would be forever before we could afford to build a house," said Mr. Hoa with a big smile.

Their frugal meals are now much more fulfilling in the new houses.

Encouraging beneficiaries to contribute to their new house makes the program more meaningful and sustainable. The new home is not a 100% sponsored asset but a proud milestone marking the family's efforts, stimulating hundreds of families to escape poverty for a better future.

This is a key activity under the Humanitarian Aid effort of the "Build a Better Future“ program by Masterise Group.
