On July 25, Masterise Group presented the People's Committee of Thu Duc City with medical equipment worth VND 23 billion to help promote the fight against Covid-19 at the frontline. This "Keep the Fire Alight at the Frontline" program is a part of the corporation’s series of Covid-19 CSR activities named "Together with Vietnam to Beat the Pandemic".

"Keep the Fire Alight at Frontline" is a part of Masterise Group’s efforts to support the national Covid-19 fight.

Together with the frontline overcoming the pandemic

After 15 days of strict social distancing, Ho Chi Minh City continued to tighten Directive 16 with more resolute and stronger measures. The spirit of solidarity of the whole nation is maximized with both efforts from the frontline workers in the hospitals and the outside among the community.

Striving to give timely support in this challenging time, since the fourth outbreak of the epidemic Masterise Group had been contributing to the fight against Covid-19 in many different ways. On the morning of July 25, the corporation presented Thu Duc City People's Committee with the necessary equipment for Covid-19 testing and treatment, including 100,000 Covid-19 rapid test kits and 100 high-flow nasal oxygen ventilators (HFNC) worth VND 23 billion.

The representative of Masterise Group received a letter of gratitude from Thu Duc City People's Committee.

Mr. Hoang Tung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee cum Chairman of People's Committee of Thu Duc City highly appreciated the group's timely support: “The COVID-19 outbreak has brought unprecedented challenges which impact not only on the frontline but across all sectors of the economy. Despite the challenges and difficulties we are all facing, Masterise Group makes multiple efforts to accompany the frontline overcoming the epidemic. We appreciate the practical and timely companionship which would accelerate the city’s anti-pandemic fight.”

Together with Vietnam to win the pandemic

Since the beginning of the fourth wave, Masterise Group had been carrying out a series of long-term CSR activities to support the two most vulnerable groups - the frontline medical workers and the laborers in need.

In July, Masterise Group supported 1 portable X-ray, 20 monitors, 36,400 protective equipment, 10,000 protective gowns, 100,000 Covid-19 test kits, and 100 HFNC machines to be worth 29 billion VND.

At the end of May when the epidemic first appeared in the North of Vietnam, in response to the “All people fight against COVID-19” call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the corporation donated VND 3 billion to the national anti-epidemic general fund to support disadvantaged people in clusters and vaccines for the community.

Earlier on July 7, Masterise Group also supported Ho Chi Minh City with medical equipment for Covid-19 prevention and control worth 6 billion VND.
In addition to the frontline support and vaccine funds, Masterise Group also responded to the Prime Minister's call to "leave no one behind" through the "Protecting homes amidst the pandemic" program. Starting July 14, Masterise Group had been coordinating with the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union to urgently support the rental fees for more than 5,000 laborers who are facing financial pressure due to the impact of the pandemic.

"Protecting homes amidst the pandemic" has been implemented since mid-July in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to a representative of Masterise Group, the corporation was working on a long-term plan to fight against the epidemic side-by-side with the nation, fulfilling our commitment through many practical and timely activities in the coming time.

"Under the impact of Covid-19, more than ever, Masterise Group is trying our best to support the community with the most practical activities. We hope that our contributions will support Vietnam to win the pandemic. Together, we will win” - said Mr. Jason Turnbull - Deputy Managing Director cum Chief Financial Officer of Masterise Homes (a member of Masterise Group).
