Unveiling the ‘Prosperity Axis’ in the new city center of Hai Phong

The first real estate project by the international developer Masterise Homes® in Hai Phong is anticipated to become a symbol of commerce, entertainment, and culture in the new city center, completing the “Prosperity Axis” in the future Thuy Nguyen urban area, alongside Hai Phong’s two monumental century-old projects.

Unveiling the ‘Prosperity Axis’ in the New City Center
According to the plan, by 2030, Hai Phong will become a key development driver for the Northern region and the entire country. In this vision, the northern part of the Cam River, Thuy Nguyen District, is designated to become a city directly under Hai Phong, transforming into the “new center” of the Port City by 2025.

With the proactive efforts of local authorities, Thuy Nguyen is poised to develop into a modern, dynamic, and prosperous urban area in Northern Vietnam.

A Prosperity Axis in the Heart of Thuy Nguyen
An emerging “Prosperity Axis” is being created in the center of Thuy Nguyen, starting with the new Hai Phong Political-Administrative Center. This will serve as the new headquarters for all Party, government, National Front, and city-level political-social organizations when it becomes operational in 2025.

Next in line is the new convention and performance center, which will become a major venue for important conferences, seminars, and performances of national and international significance.

The final piece of the Prosperity Axis is The Centric, a project developed by Masterise Homes® with the vision of becoming a symbol of commerce, entertainment, and culture in the new city center of Hai Phong. Spanning 7.2 hectares, The Centric features an ideal construction density of only 28%, including shoptique products and two commercial service blocks, with the remaining area dedicated to landscaping, amenities, and roadways.

A Unique Architectural Statement
To create an iconic development that evokes pride among Hai Phong residents, Masterise Homes® has deeply researched the cultural and historical characteristics of the Port City.

The project incorporates architectural and landscape design elements unique to Hai Phong, inspired by symbols such as Elephant Mountain—one of the city’s national historical sites—and Lan Ha Bay, a renowned natural heritage site. The design of the shoptique products and The Park’s landscaping reflects these inspirations.

A highlight of the project is The Iron Fountain, located at Central Avenue, symbolizing the resilient “Iron Spirit” of Hai Phong’s people.

Unique Shoptique Model
For the first time in Hai Phong, Masterise Homes® introduces the unique, limited-edition shoptique model, tailored specifically for the city. This model addresses both commercial needs and opportunities for accommodation and entertainment, offering diverse usage options. “This is a product that Masterise Homes® has passionately researched, providing potential for value appreciation over time and enduring value for the commerce and service sector in Hai Phong,” said a representative from Masterise Homes®.

The Centric pioneers the Open-Air Shopping Center model and One-Stop-Shop concept, promising refined and convenient experiences in a modern open space.

Distinct Neighborhoods
The Centric is divided into four distinct neighborhoods:

East Street: Adjacent to the Prosperity Axis, high-tech industrial zones, and the new city center. This area will be a hub for international exchange, creating a vibrant, modern space with a strong spirit of integration.

West Street: Near the Thuy Nguyen administrative area, focused on traditional goods and cuisine, reflecting the Port City’s unique characteristics. It aims to revitalize Hai Phong’s culinary tourism map and attract visitors to explore local culture.

South Street: Adjacent to the Hai Phong Convention and Performance Center, which will be a key venue for festivals and important events, offering visitors a lively atmosphere and opportunities to engage in various celebrations.

North Street: Positioned at the intersection of two major streets, suitable for convenience stores, modern shopping centers, and services catering to the needs of residents and tourists.

Future Vision for Thuy Nguyen
With the establishment of Thuy Nguyen as a smart city linked to the new administrative-political center, and a projected population of 600,000 by 2035 and 725,000 by 2045, it is set to become a desirable place to live and a strategic development point in Hai Phong. The Centric, aligned with the future city planning of Thuy Nguyen, will be delivered concurrently with the administrative center, addressing the needs for shopping, entertainment, and dining for millions of visitors and thousands of employees working in the nearby government offices.
